Florida in September

Well the boys and I went to Florida in Sep. for about 2 weeks. Jack joined us for about 5 of those days and we had the time of our lives! Mike and Debbie were incredible to share their home with us for that long and the boys wanted to stay with them and just send Mom and Dad home at the end of the trip...they are beach babies for sure! We did so many fun things that I will just write about them all first then post about a million photos:) We went boating the first day to shell island and it was just beautiful. The kids loved collecting shells and sand dollars and Marlene, Barry, and their grand kids were just a blast to spend the day with! On the boat ride back to the house we had dolphins swimming right by the boat....it was incredible and the boys LOVED it.
We spent almost the entire time in a pool or in the ocean:) The boys were both a little timid at first about the pool but once they got comfortable there was absolutely no fear! Nick would literally run straight into the water without his float tube on and when one of us would fish him out of the water he was all smiles....Charlie loved his float tube though so we didn't scream when he would run right into the water:) I was even brave and swam in the ocean because I don't want my boys to have the fear of the ocean that I do. I love to look at, smell, and listen to the ocean but I am terrified of what lurks beneath the water!!! Thanks a lot "Jaws". The kids also loved marked sand castles and knocking them over. Pappy and Mimi were so amazing with the kids I wish we lived closer! Jack and I just relaxed and got some sun...PERFECT vacation in my mind.
Mike and Debbie also took us to Busch Gardens one day, the aquarium, and a zoo. All 3 of these places were just amazing. Christie and her sweet dog met us at a park one day too and the park was one of the best I have ever been too. The kids had so much fun. I was really excited this year too because I wasn't pregnant this time at Busch Gardens so I got to ride the coasters with Jack and they were so cool. However, there is one that is so high and fast I blacked out for a few sec. the first time we rode it.
Mike and Debbie we love you two so very much and appreciate all you do for us. Thanks for one of the best vacations I have ever been on!!!

Charlie turned 3...in Aug.

So I am terrible and need to do some major catching up! My Charlie Brown turned 3 on Aug. 2 and he is just the most adorable 3-year-old to ever live! No really he is! Not potty trained, but will be SOON:) The days leading up to his birthday he would tell anyone who would listen that his birthday was two of August...it was really sweet the way he said it:) He had friends and family come celebrate with cake and ice cream and he got some pretty sweet presents. Neena and Pappa got him a T-Ball set, Bert and Ash got him a set of water guns, Michelle got him a sweet pirate ship and Lego set, and he got some pretty nice duds from us and others. Thanks to all who celebrated with us! I am terrible and I can't find the pics from his birthday so I am going to post 3 pictures my amazing friend Mollie took while she was here visiting...she is amazing!

The 4th of July

This 4th of July we got to go to the Stadium of Fire with my whole family and some friends. We had so much fun and I finally got to see Brad Paisley in concert! I love his music and we all had a blast. Nick was so tired by the end though he slept through most of the fireworks...silly boy.

Girls Camp

This June I got to go to Girl's Camp and I was so glad Jack's sweet Mom could come out and watch the boys while I was gone. I am the Laurels advisor and was so excited to attend! We went from Tue. June 21st to Fri. June 24th. My birthday was on that Wed. and all the girls and leaders were so sweet and decorated my tent and made me a really cute birthday hat. The girls we have in our ward are amazing and they are such great examples to me. I missed my boys so much but I LOVED every min. of camp!

Ragnar 2011

Jack has done the Ragnar the last 2 years and has absolutely LOVED it! So this year I decided it would be fun to do it with him. We had a team of 12 people from our ward and the race goes 193 miles from Logan to Park City. We each run 3 legs and the miles vary. I ran about 15 total and Jack ran about 18-20 total I can't remember the exact mileage. We slept on the side of the road and in a church parking lot, hardly slept, and I ran with an injured knee the last leg, but it was one of the most amazing things I have ever done!! Thanks to all the fun people on my team and to my parents for watching my babies:) Here are a few pictures I have to get more from our friend Kristy who was in our van. Oh and our team name was the Stansbury Streakers.

Nick's Birthday!

My baby turned 1 on June 10th! He is such a sweet blessing to our family and I love him more than words can express. He is walking all over the place, waving, clapping, gives really wet kisses, is super snuggly, signs the word more, gives high fives, and can hold his own in a wrestling match with his big brother and Dad. Here are some fun pictures from his birthday. We went to the zoo with my sis Nichole then had a little party and I was so happy with the turn out. We have such loving family and friends and we feel so very blessed for that. He is one loved little boy and I just can't believe he is one already!

This is the first picture I took when I walked into his room on the morning of his birthday....yes he is almost ALWAYS that happy:)

It's been way too long since I have blogged and I have so much to catch up on it's a bit overwhelming! I still have to download all my pictures! However, I did get some sent to me on e-mail that I will share. My darling sister-in-law Clarissa and her family were here from Boston last week, (which will be a very fun and long post later on), but she is a great photographer and while she was here I asked her to take some pictures of Nick. He turned 1 June 10th and I needed some 1 year pictures and when they say a picture is worth a thousand words...well it's so true...

These were just a few of our first attempt and he would not smile unless I was holding him. The next day we were hanging out by the lake and got a few cute and very serious ones...oh this kid makes me laugh!

By the way he LOVES this hat it cracks me up! Thanks Clarissa and there are many more posts to come people so stay tuned and don't give up on me:)

Horse back riding!

My sweet brother had us over to his in-laws last weekend so he could take all the kids horse back riding. I was worried my boys were going to be too scared but they both LOVED it! My Mom and Dad, both my sisters and all their kids were there too, and we had such a good time! After we went riding we all went to lunch, saw "Rio" in the theater which was DARLING, and then had a pizza party at my Mom and Dads. What an amazing day with family! I felt really bad for Jack though, the poor guy had to work all day and missed out on all the fun...we have to count our blessing that he has a job though:) I love all of my family so much and I want to thank them all for such an amazing day!

Easter!

Ok I know this is kinda late but at least I'm doing it I guess. MaryJo and Kate came and stayed with us for a few days and we had lots of fun seeing them. We got to go to the Stansbury Easter hunt with them and this year we showed up 2 min. late and it was over! Turns out that was probably a good thing because the genius that put it together thought fire balls and jaw breakers were appropriate candy choices for 2 and 3 years old's. Later that day me and the boys headed to my Moms for Easter dinner with the whole family and I forgot my camera:( Poor Jack couldn't come because his Moms car broke down on the side of the freeway and they worked on it from 11:30 to 10:00 at night...I felt so bad for all of them what a bummer! On Sun., the real Easter we got up with the kids and they had so much fun looking at what the Easter Bunny had left them. A trail of goodies was left and they each got a pillow pet, new books, and a new shirt for church. The jelly beans blew Nick's mind! He loved a little sugar in the morning:)

Jacks brother Pat and his wife Clarissa had baby number four early Sunday morning! Scott Brendan was 6 lbs. 7 oz. 19 in. long. He is just so adorable and I can't wait to meet the little guy. Congratulations guys! Love ya!

Nick loves to walk around the furniture and has been doing so for almost 3 months now. He also loves to stand without holding onto anything and try to walk. However, he gets so excited to make the big step he flaps his arms and falls over. It is pretty cute but also frustrating for him so I hope he walks soon...he just wants to be able to keep up with his big brother.

Charlie likes to be many things, a bear, a dinosaur, a football player, a fighter, a monkey, and his latest favorite a COWBOY! He rides his horse around the house yelling "Ye Ha!" and then takes off his hat and says, "Howdy Partner!" How cute is that. I love this kid so much!

St. Patricks Day

For St Patricks Day I of course dressed me and the boys in green and Nick had this darling shirt from his Uncle Ry and Aunt Penny that said "lil Irish Hooligan". It is so cute, THANKS! We made corned beef and cabbage and sugar cookies...i know sugar cookies are not exactly Irish, but I made them cause they sounded good:) Here are a couple pictures of the boys. Charlie is showing off his yummy cookie and this is my messy Nick after he gnawed on one for a while:)

My Neeco!

My Nick, AKA, Neeco is growing and changing so fast! He is walking all around the furniture, he finally has 3 of the 4 teeth that have been swollen for months, standing up and trying to take steps but he gets so excited he falls:) clapping, eating more solids, and is just such a joy in our lives. Here are a couple pictures of him. I tried to get his teeth but they are kinda hard to see. Also he is like all the other men in this house and loves to be naked so he spends a lot of time in just his diaper:)

Well for about the last three weeks its been...not fun at our house! My poor Nick got an ear infection, was teething, and got RSV all in one week. When he started to feel a little better it hit Charlie and me. I got a cold and Charlie brown got an ear infection. It had so much pressure it burst and stuff was oozing from him ear and he had a temp. of 103. When Charlie and I started to mend Jack got a cold and Nick got Bronchitis and another ear infection! Ahhhhhh! My dark circles under the eyes from 3 weeks of NO sleep are just starting to fade:) I hate when my babies are sick it is just so sad! However we are all healthy now...knock on wood...and hope we stay that way for a while!

6 Years

Jack and i have now been married for 6 whole years! I am so blessed to have such an amazing husband, a best friend, and the best father for my children! He works so hard for our family and provides love and support to me every day. I Thank our Heavenly Father every day for blessing me with such a loving, caring man!

Christmas in Cedar

We headed down to Cedar City after we saw all the family and got to see all the family down there. I love that we get to see so many family members for Christmas...I just wish we could see all of them!

This was such a fun Christmas! Charlie was old enough to really understand it this year and it was so much fun watching him open his presents! Nick didn't really know what was going on but he sure was happy:)

Christmas Eve at my parents house was a blast as always. Aunt Jill and Jamie came, along with Grandma Lucy, and all my siblings with their families. We had yummy food and got to open a couple presents.

I love Christmas time because you get all the fun Christmas cards from family and friends and this year like most others we have also gotten packages from loved ones and Charlie LOVES it! We got singing cards from Mimi and Pappy with gift cards and both the boys loved them! I got it on video and it is darling so thanks so much Mimi and Pappy we love you!

The package we got today was from Grandma Barb and Uncle Jerry. The kids got darling stuffed animals and Charlie has not stopped hugging his new puppy. Nick is chewing on his new bear but that is how he shows affection so he LOVES it! Thanks Barb and Jerry we love you!

Decorating the Tree and Lights

We decorated the Christmas tree a couple weeks ago and then we got to go see the lights at Temple Square with Julie and Aaron. Charlie thought the waterfalls were the best part of the lights and was so excited that the nice lady let him pet the horse...it made his night! (Look closely at his face it is hysterical!) Nick wasn't really sure what to make of it all so he eventually just fell asleep:)

6 Months

Nick turned 6 months on the 10th and he got his sad little shots on the 14th. Charlie was so mad at the nurse for poking him and making him cry! He wrinkled his nose, put his hands on his hips and said, "Don't you hurt my baby Neeco!" He calls him Neeco not Nick...what a good big brother. Nick weighs 13 lbs. 5 oz. and is 26 in. long. He is crawling all over and loves to do dog piles with Charlie and Dad. Here are some pics of his CHUBBY thighs!

Thanksgiving 2010

This year Jack and i headed to Cedar City for Thanksgiving. We went down on Sunday because he had his work Conf. in Las Vegas and we were leaving the kids with his Mom until Wed. Well the 4 hour drive down there ended up taking 9 LONG hours because of the horrible weather and there was a big accident. We sat on the highway in park for 3 hours!!! Yes with two small children who were actually great considering the circumstances. We did get out and go for a walk with the kids cause we all needed a break from the car and we got to admire all the cute snowmen people were building on the side of the rode to entertain their children. We finally got to Cedar, spent the night and left the kids that afternoon and headed to Vegas. Vegas was nice only because we got to see our dear friends Josh and Chelsey and my cousin Brooke and the rest of the trip....well it's Vegas there is not much else to say but that it will be swallowed up some day. Anywho we headed for Cedar on Wed. and spent the rest of the week with Jacks family and had a wonderful Thanksgiving. I am so thankful for my amazing husband and the most adorable boys in the entire world!!!

Little Crawler!

Well at 4 1/2 months my little man decided he wanted to start crawling! He was just getting up and lunging forward now he goes all over the house...backwards:) He will roll all across the floor too it is so cute. Now we just needs to work on going forward. I can't believe how soon he started! Here are some pictures.

Charlie's Latest....

He dumped an entire bottle of juice on his new white shirt...had to wash it with Spray and Wash 3 times before it all came out. Emptied the entire contents of the meat and cheese drawer into the garbage can. Made a "Choo Choo Train" out of all the condiments in my fridge on the kitchen floor. And feels the need to strip down to his birthday suit at least 2-3 times a day. Last night I went to check on him before I went to bed and he was sound asleep...butt naked! I ran and got Jack cause it was just too funny! It could have been a real mess though so I am super glad I checked on him. Any advice on what to do with this adorable child is welcome:)

This is a phrase I have learned to fear! Charlie is getting into all kinds of things lately and he is very honest when he makes a "mess". I will leave him watching a movie or playing with toys to go get something done and a few min. later he is coming to me, "Mommy make a mess!" I tell him to show me and he guides me to his latest disaster. I will share a few examples....about a month ago he came to me covered in silver marker. He had found a silver sharpie and colored his entire body, the couch, the wall in the basement, and his toy box. Luckily it all came out and the marker went in the garbage. A few weeks ago...and this was totally my fault...he took a small cup of nutella chocolate and covered himself in it including the bottoms of his feet and walked all over the couch, covering it with tiny brown footprints.

A couple days ago he found a brand new bag of fish crackers and dumped the entire thing all over the kitchen table and floor then proceeded to stomp on all of them. Here he is in time out for that one.

Then the cherry on top was Grandma Lucy's house on Saturday. We went down for family pictures and an early Thanksgiving dinner with Uncle Craig and he locked himself in her bathroom, shoved two towels in the toilet, and tried to flush them. The whole bathroom flooded so bad the water was GUSHING through the floor into the basement! What am I going to do with this child?!!! It's a good thing he is so cute! Pray that I can go at least a week without hearing the phrase "Mommy make a mess!"

Happy Halloween

This year Charlie was Nacho Libre because it is sadly his favorite movie right now. It is really funny to hear him ask for Nachooooo! Little Nick was in his little Halloween outfit and we went to the ward Trunk-or-Treat. Sadly to say it was a little disappointing...we went through $18.00 worth of candy in half an hour and that was it...LAME. Oh well, Charlie thought it was cool to go with his friends and get candy from people and that's all that matters:)

4 Months

This adorable little guy is 4 months already! I have not taken him to the doctor yet so I don't know the stats but he is scooting backwards, eating rice cerial, rolling over, laughing, has been sleeping through the night for 2 months, and has the sweetest smile in the world! He is such a joy in our lives we love ya little man!

New Hair Cut!

Well when Nicks hair was falling into his eyes we decided it was time for another hair cut...yes only three months old and ready for hair cut number two. My Mom did a great job with him and I just have to show off my little man. We cut over two inches off...I was kinda sad to cut off all the sweet hair but he does look better:) here are the before and after.

2 Years and 2 Months

Charlie turned 2 years old on the second and little Nick will 2 months on the tenth. We had Nicks blessing on the first so we celebrated Charlies birthday the same day since family was all here for the blessing. My whole family got to be here and some very good family friends and I want to thank them all for their love and support. Here are some pictures of that fun day and the cute boys. I think Charlie had more fun with the tissue paper than any of the presents....as you can see in the one picture:)

This fourth we decided to go to the Gateway Mall and play in the water fountains they have cause Charlie LOVED it last year. Well he was a little apprehensive this year but once Dad showed him how fun it was he joined in:) We also played in the pool in the back, sprinklers, and the neighbors let us play on their slip n' slide one day. Two Weeks!!

My baby turned two weeks old three weeks ago so I am trying to play catch up, starting with his two week check up. He weighed in at 8 lbs. 2 oz. so growing too fast and was 21.5 in. long! Here are some cute pictures of him with his brother when we got back from the app. Charlie just loves to hold him and give him kisses...what a sweet big brother! The top picture is of Nick with his hair wet...it goes so curly when its wet then dries straight and POOFY!

Here is my little Nick everyone! He was born June 10, 2010 at 3:06 pm. He weighed 7 lbs. 11 oz. and was 20 in. long. Everything went smoothly and we are both healthy and doing well. This was a little different for me than with Charlie. Charlie had a high fever when he came out so they took him right away and I didn't get to see him for a couple hours, this time I got to hold him right when they pulled him out...goop and all! It was one of the most amazign experiences of my life! He has so much hair the neighbor kid said he looks like a rock star which I have to agree with:) We just couldn't love him more and Charlie is being so sweet with him it makes me so happy! Enjoy the pictures and just ignore how scary I look.

My family usually goes camping every Memorial Day weekend but this year didn't work out because of all the lame snow. Well Jack was so sad he decided to set up the tent in the back yard. We snuggled down, put a movie in, and Charlie was the happiest little boy in the world! He was so excited to be out in the tent he didn't go to sleep until almost midnight...silly kid. We had fun so thanks to my sweet husband for taking the time to set it all up:) Hope you all had a nice weekend!

Charlie is obsessed with any kind of ball! He can spot one a mile away! He has a million and he loves to line them all up in a row and kick them. I thought I would get a video and some pictures because he is quite the impressive athlete for not even being two yet! He does not perform as well with the camera on but you can get the basic idea of the fun we have at our house:)

I was so lucky this week and got to spend some time with my best friend Mollie and Laura and Laura's cute daughter Eliza! Molls was in town from California to see her family and check the gender of her baby. It's a BOY so my little Nick can have a little buddy:) We went to lunch and did a little shopping it was so fun and we took some pictures of our baby bellies. I am 35 weeks and she is a very tiny 16 weeks. I am so excited for you Molls Love ya and thanks to both of you for hangin out with me and my Charlie man. Eliza and Charlie hit it off as you can see:)

I can't tell you all how excited Jack and I are to meet our little Nick! We are so close I can't believe it! We still have about 6 weeks, but it seems to be coming very fast! I am most likely going to be induced at least a week early too so even closer than the due date! I was looking at pictures of when I had Charlie and it just got me even more excited. Here is a picture of me and my little angel the day we came home from the hospital...I can't believe I am going to be bringing home another one soon. We are so VERY VERY BLESSED!

Panic Attack!

Tuesday morning it was raining pretty hard and I remembered that Jack and I had left some of our gardening tools out front. I didn't want them to get ruined so I went through the garage in my jammies to run out and bring them in. When I ran back to the door to go inside it was LOCKED! Charlie some how figured out how to lock the door! I was in my jammies, my 1 1/2 year old in the house by himself, and the only house key was in Wyoming with Jack! I was freaking out! I started to pound on the door and Charlie pounded back...we were getting no where. I then proceeded to try and reason with him through the door. I shook the door knob and told him to unlock it and...presto! It's like the kid had been doing it his whole life! I swooped him up and laughed/cried and he was so proud of himself:) What a way to start off the day. I am now going to pass out house keys to at least three of my neighbors:)

Fun filled Easter weekend!

What a fun Easter weekend we had at the Meegan house! We got to watch cenference, have Grandma Jo for a couple days, went for a ride out on the lake, the Easter Bunny came, and we did two easter egg hunts! Who could ask for more?! Sunday we went to my Moms and had a super yummy dinner and Easter egg hunt with the cousins and just hung out with family it was wonderful! Enjoy the pictures. So a couple weeks ago I was getting all excited to mow my lawn and get ready for Spring! It had been nice for two weeks and so when I woke up on Sat. morning and saw this...

I was a little surprised. I shouldn't be because we live in Utah and that is just what happens, but the lame weather man said nothing about snow and we got 4 inches! We had fun anyway...OK the boys did I was too cold, but I watched and that was fun:)

We don't typically watch American Idol at our house but the other night it was all that was on so we watched and Charlie was a HUGE fan! He was standing on the table swaying back and forth singing with a bread stick in his hand, but of course he stopped as soon as I pulled the camera out. I did get him singning again but from the back. It was so cute I wish you could have all been there to see:) Enjoy the video.

Bountiful Baskets

My friends introduced me to this wonderful thing called Bountiful Baskets. Once a week you can sign up to get this amazing basket of fresh fruits and veggies. It is $16.50 after taxes and you just have to take a basket and pick it up at a designated pick up spot. Look at ALL the amazing fresh food I got for so little. I could not get half this at the grocery store for that price. I am so excited and we have already had some strawberries and oranges and they taste AMAZING! I would recommend it to anyone:)

For FHE last night we had our lesson and then we decided to make sugar cookies and Charlie is quite the cook! He helped Mix it up...

Jack and I have been married 5 years today and my love for him continues to grow every day! The last 3 days we were there we spent at their beach house which was right across the street from the beach! It was perfect! The first day was incredibly foggy, but that didn't stop us from having fun on the beach! Jacks sister Christie and her boyfriend Ryan even came out to see us and it was just too much fun. Charlie had so much fun he slept in my arms during all of dinner in a noisy sea food restraunt:)
One of the days at the beach Charlie, Dad, Mom, Mimi, and Pappy made a little pool with the sand and Charlie was thrilled...the ocean was a bit too big for him:) We also got to see Uncle Jerry one of the nights we were there...so much family out there we need to get out there more often. Well enjoy all the MANY pictures. THanks again for the fun trip Mimi and Pappy we LOVE you!!!

P.S. Charlies new thing is to say CHEEEEESE at the camera so I do it with him and that explains our cheesy faces in these pictures:)

Florida: day 1&2

Our little family got to go to Florida last week and we had so much fun! We went to see Jacks Dad and step Mom Debbie in Tampa and they showed us a wonderufl time! The first day we had a yummy BBQ at their house and then played in the hot tub! Charlie thought it was the coolest thing ever. The second day we went to Busch Gardens and I had never been so I was really excited. It was a week day and we had the park pretty much to ourselves...it was perfect. We got to see all the animals and take a train ride, and Jack got to ride all the roller coasters with his Dad. I was a little sad I couldn't go on the rides, but there was so much to see and do I had a wonderful time. I think my favorite part was feeding the birds. They would land all over you and one became very fond of Michaels bald head and licked it to death it was hilarious! Enjoy the pictures and there are more posts to come:)

This year we had such a wonderful Christmas! I was so excited I woke up at 6 am and just waited for Jack and Charlie to wake up. They just slept and slept, so I started to stare at Jack willing him to wake up with my mind and at 7:30 he finally did. Then at 8:00 I finally broke and just got Charlie out of his bed and forced him to wake up! I seriously felt like I was five again...I loved it! Jack and I were both excited to see how Charlie would act this year. We were not sure if he would understand yet and we were thrilled when he did! He was so excited and very sweet; he would open a present then give one to Mom and Dad (they were not the right presents but he wanted us to have one too)He is such a sweet little guy. We got to see all of my family then head down to Cedar City and see Jack's family so it was a full day:)Santa brought Charlie his very own camp chair and you would have thought the kid died and went to Heaven when he kicked back in his chair and ate gummy savers he found in his stocking! Ok here are some pictures I will try to keep them minimal, but there are so many cute ones I can't make any promises.

Christmas Eve Jack had to go to work and we were so sad:( Luckily he talked his boss into letting him go at noon so we were able to go sledding before heading down to my parents for dinner. We have not taken him sledding before so we were so excited to get all bundled up and head out. We have a hill just down the street from us that is perfect for sledding. I tell you he was the happiest kid in the world!! He LOVED it! I am not going to lie when I tell you that Jack and I had just as much fun:) Enjoy these cute pictures.

BIG News!

For those of you who don't know already we are having another baby! We are so excited! June 15th is the due date and we get to find out the sex of the baby at the end of January so stay tuned:) The first trimester is over and is was really horrible...compared to Charlie anyway. I was puking and tired and just felt horrible every day. Ginger Ale was my very best friend for 3 months! I am feeling much better now and I am even showing...Ahh! I guess my body just knows what to do now so the process is a bit faster. I don't really look pregnant though I am still at that stage where people are probably wondering if I just let myself go. Anyway that's our big news. Hope all of you have a wonderful Christmas and New Year! And it wouldn't be one of my posts without a picture of my Charlie Brown:)

Jack is making me do this post. If you know me at all you know that I do not do well with sour things. This seems to bring much enjoyment to family and friends as I am always asked to suck on a lemon at restaurants, eat sour candy, etc. Well on Halloween as Jack and I were going through Charlie's candy we found some war heads. Jack thought it would be funny to record me eating one. The rules were: NO chewing, NO spitting it out, and I had to suck on it until it wasn't sour anymore. So, as embarrassing as this is, here is the video as promised...ENJOY!

15 Months

Well my baby is 15 months now and at his doctors appointment he had to get 3 shots it was so sad:( I did get a good laugh at all the developmental questions. Nurse: "Can he walk?" Me: "Since he was 9 months old." Nurse: "Does he climb on furniture?" Me: "Onto the table, counter tops, into sinks, what doesn't he climb onto!" Nurse: "Can he throw a ball?" Me: " Are you kidding me! The kid is a pro! He can chuck anything across the room!" I was laughing so hard after she left the room. As far as his stats go he weighs 20lbs 5 oz. and is 31 in. tall. Here is a little video to show all of you how well he throws:) He loves to watch baseball and I have a feeling he may be a pro ball player when he gets older.

My Mom took Charlie to Build A Bear a while ago and they made this adorable dog we named Carl. He is so cute and Charlie just loves him. The other night for about 30 min. Charlie passed Carl to me, Jack, and then himself, over and over so we could take turns giving him loves. It was so cute that I just had to take pictures. Thanks Mom for Carl:)

We have been busy around our house so here is an update on what we have doing to keep busy...

Finding new places to play. (It took a solid three min. of his whining at the sink for me to figure out that he wanted to sit in it and play with the Q-Tips...of course that's what he wanted:))

Re-staining all the cabinets in the house...you can't really tell in the pictures but they are much darker now and look great! I still have to tackle the kitchen. This fist one is the after.

My Sweet Grandpa Lucy....

My Grandpa Lucy passed away this past Monday and I wanted to post a picture and his obituary in remembrance of him. His funeral was this weekend and it was just perfect. I was honored to speak and I just want to say what an incredible man he was and I love and miss him so very much!

Glen "Zeke" Zimmerman 1922 ~ 2009 It's a grave sense of loss that we announce the passing of Glen "Zeke" Robinson Zimmerman. Glen was born on February 23, 1922 in Lehi, Utah to Adella and Steven Zimmerman. Glen grew up in Eureka and Lehi and graduated from Lehi High School. His athletic years started there. He played football, tennis, and was a cheerleader during basketball season. For a short while, he worked in the Merkur Mines then moved on to school where he attended a short time at both BYU and Cedar City. Zeke then transferred to Utah State where he also played football. When the war broke out in 1942, he joined the US Marines and served for four years as a 2nd Lieutenant and then Captain. Part of his time was served in Hawaii in the Military Police. After the war, he returned to Utah State to finish his teaching degree and play football, graduating in 1947. Zeke is a true "blue" Aggie. He supported the school's Alumni Scholarship Program and athletics. His education continued to earn a Master's Degree and then his Doctorate. Also in 1947, he married Lucille Smith from Ogden. She was the sister to one of the fraternity brothers. They moved to Mt. Pleasant for his first year of teaching and to coach football at the high school. The next year they moved to Orem to teach and coach at the beloved Lincoln High School. Here is where he would start a career to help mold and change the lives for good for so many kids. When Orem Jr. High was built, he took the position of vice-principal. Mr. Zimmerman was a firm but fair man. He demanded respect, and for that he gave a lot. He developed and ran a successful program for boys that seemed to find trouble. Glen always had several things going on at once, during the summers he worked for the forest service and for years arbitrated and refereed basketball games for the Northwest Division. Glen was elected to the Orem City council where he served terms for 12 years. He was the advocate to have the recreation center built, now honored for. He helped get many projects done, one of them included getting cars for the police force. Zeke and Lucy enjoyed traveling to places like Italy, Greece, the Panama Canal, the Mediterranean, and the Caribbean. He was a fisherman and enjoyed golfing with his buddies, whom all but one, have also passed on. He enjoyed watching his sons play sports and was a regular at the Orem Owls games. With the many positions he held the ones of Husband, Father, and Grandfather were his most important. He loved and adored his wife, four children, and grandchildren. Glen is survived by his wife, Lucille Zimmerman, Craig (Zeke) and DeLoa Zimmerman, Blake (Zeke) and Connie Zimmerman, Jill Zimmerman and Nancy and Craig Pierce. Glen and Lucille have 12 grandchildren Candi, Marty, Carrie, Ty, Joshua, Brooke, Jamie, Bradley, Natalie, Michelle, Nichole, and Bret, as well as 14 great grandchildren and sister Donna Clark. He was preceded in passing by his parents, and brother Rex Zimmerman. Heart felt thank you to the loving staff of the Orem Beehive Home and Gentle Care for the love and care they gave Dad this past five months. The family would also like to thank Dr. Marshall Willis and William Alward. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the School of Graduate Studies, Scholarship Development Office, in Logan, Utah. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Oct 3, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at the Sharon Stake Chapel, 575 S. 800 E. in Orem, UT. A viewing will be held Friday, October 2, 2009 from 6-8 p.m. at the Walker Sanderson Funeral Home, 646 East 800 North, Orem, UT and Saturday morning from 9:30-10:30 a.m. prior to the services at the church. Burial will be at the Orem City Cemetery.

Jack had a work Conf. thing in Vegas and I got to go with him. We left last Wed. and left the little nugget with my Mom. I was so sad to leave Charlie, but at the same time really excited to have a vacation with my husband. We got to stay at Mandalay Bay which was really nice and his boss took us to a really nice dinner and a show. We saw "Jersey Boys" and it was amazing! (I could have done w/o the swearing though.) We hung out at the pool that was really cool. It has a wave pool, lazy river, and artificial beach. The last two days we were there we got to spend with Me and Jack's really close friends Josh and Chelsey. They only live 10 min. from the strip and it was so fun to see them. They took us to the water show and to Hoover Dam. Hoover Dam was really neat and I recommend you go if you have the chance. However, I would wait until it wasn't 109 degrees outside:) Thanks Mom for watching my little sweetheart. Here are lots of pictures:)

Labor Day

For Labor Day weekend Jack and I stayed home Friday and Saturday and spent time as a family:) Saturday night we hung out with some friends and had pizza. After Church on Sunday we headed up the canyon to go meet my family for camping. We spent the night up Strawberry and it was so much fun. Charlie ate a lot of dirt and made a new friend. Our good friends have a little girl his age and for some reason Charlie loved to sit on her lap and the two fed each other dirt and sticks. It was so funny to watch them! Thanks for playing with us Hayleigh:)

We have had so many exciting things happening all at once that I have not made time to post all the wonderful things Jack has been doing this summer. I feel terrible that I am just getting to it so I'm sorry sweetie I love you! He has trained really hard this summer to participate in more triathlons and the Ragnar Relay. The Ragnar Relay is a 180 mile race from Logan to Park City. He was on a team of 12 and they all ran 3-4 legs of the race. Jack ran a total of 18 miles and did an amazing job! Here are some pictures of the race...his team members have much better ones but these will have to do for now.

He also did the Stansbury Triathlon again this year and did wonderful! It was raining and freezing cold the entire time but he did great and Charlie and I bundled up together to watch:) They did the swim, bike, then run. Here are some pics form that...

Welcome Miles Jack Meegan! Jack's older brother and his wife Clarissa had baby number 3 on Saturday morning in Texas. He was 7 lbs. 2 oz. and 20 in. long. What a darling little boy and Clarissa looks amazing!! We are so excited to have another little boy in the family and we can't wait to meet him:) Congratulations you guys and we love you all very much!

BEST SURPRISE EVER!

My Mom went to Texas to go see my twin sister and her new baby for 10 days and when she flew home she wanted me and Charlie to come to the airport with my Dad so we could see her. We are only 20 min. from the airport and we really missed her so we headed up last Wed. My Dad and I were standing there waiting for her to come out when my Dad's eyes got really big and he said "What!" and I turned around and saw my Mom arm in arm with my sister holding the baby! I yelled so loud, "ARE YOU KIDDING ME!" ran over to my sister and hugged her for so long sobbing like a baby! I thought I wasn't going to be able to see them until next summer and that just broke my heart so when my Mom surprised us all with the two of them I couldn't contain myself. The whole place was staring at me but I didn't care. They were here for 5 days and so I just slept at my Moms so I could get as much of them as I could:) Here are some pictures of Avery with my Dad and Charlie. Charlie was so sweet with her. He would go sit right next to her, point, and say wow. It was darling how sweet he was with her and he never really touched her I think he knew she was fragile...what a smart little boy I have:) Thanks Mom for the best surprise ever I miss you Nichole and Avery so much already LOVE you all!!

Yesterday morning Charlie and I were playing in the living room when we heard a knock at the door. We opened it up and there was a HUGE package just for Charlie!!! He was so excited to open it up...the kid is only one but so smart and totally knew it was something exciting:) Grandma Barb lives in Florida and she is so sweet and sent a tool set and radio for Charlie's birthday. He loved both the gifts and has been dancing to the radio with the hammer in his hand ever since! He even fell asleep today with the hammer in his hand cause he would not give it up:) Here are some fun pictures of him opening his gift. Thank you so much Barb we love and miss you so much!

I took Charlie to his 12 month appointment and I wanted to report his stats: weight-19 pounds 5th%...small but wiery! height- 19 1/4 inches 25th%. The doctor said he was a healthy adorable little guy and was very impressed with his walking and baby signing skills! I just love this picture too so I had to post it along with the stats:)

My baby boy is 1! A year ago August 2, 2008 at 4:44 am the sweetest angel was placed in my arms. He weighed 7 lb. 3 oz. and was 19 1/2 in. long. Here are some pictures right before he came and right after... And now my baby is all grown up! Walking...well running now...and into everything! He is the biggest joy in my life and Jack and I are so blessed to have such a sweet spirit bless our family! For the 4th of July we went to Gateway and let Charlie play in the water fountain and he loved it! Most kids his age were crying but not our little man he thought it was the greatest! After that we had a BBQ with one of our really good friends Lyndsi and Terry. Jack and Terry were Marines together and have stayed very good friends so it was great to hang out with them and celebrate our FREEDOM:)

Charlie just loves the water and discovered the hose the other day. I was laughing so hard when he was swinging the hose around and then drenched himself with freezing cold water. It took him a min. to catch his breath then he thought it was hilarious and did it for about 15 more min. After a bit of a tantrum when I took it away I filled the pool up and he had a blast:) Here is a little video and some cute pictures...enjoy!

My beautiful twin sister Nichole had her baby this morning...3 weeks early! Little Avery Lynn was 6lbs. 10 ooz. and 18 1/2 in. long. She was born C-section at 3:30 a.m. which was unexpected! Mom and baby are both healthy and doing well:) Welcome to the world liitle one I love you so much and I can't wait to meet you! Doesn't my sister look amazing?! I wish I looked that good after an emergency C-section!

Charlie discovered the wonderful world of RASPBERRIES! He absolutely loves them and lucky for us our raspberry bush is growing wonderfully and producing great berries:) We usually feed them to him, but the other night we were trying to eat our dinner and he wanted one put in his mouth every 5 seconds so we finally gave in and let him feed them to himself...the result...

ONE HAPPY, MESSY BOY!!! I should have taken his shirt off, but it was too late by the time I thought of it...the kid has quick hands:)
Next we got to see some cousins from Texas! Clarissa was in town visiting her family in Idaho and we got to have them at our place for one night and we all had so much fun! We miss them all so much and we so happy we got to spend a little time with them. The kids loved playing at the pond and wrestling with Jack, we just wish Pat could have been there too! Thanks for having a sleepover with us we love you guys!

On Saturday Jack and I busted out the $5 inflatable pool we got for Charlie and it was the best thing that has ever happened to the kid! We had so much stinkin' fun in that teeny tiny pool...and yes I said WE! All 3 of us were in it and splashing around:) We were glad none of our neighbors saw us:) Charlie played in there for a good 2 hours when I finally had to drag him out so we could all have lunch...he was so sad:( But it seems the days keep getting hotter so that little pool will get good use this summer!

We have been so busy with all kinds of fun things this last couple weeks that I have not had time to do all the posts that I wanted to so I will combine a few today and get to more later this week:) These first pictures are of Jacks "MAN" trip to Boulder for the annual fishing trip. There are some of Jack then my little brother. They all had so much fun!

And now FATHERS DAY! We had a really nice Fathers Day spent with family and it was so nice. We went to church which was great, Dad and Charlie took a nap together...VERY important, then we drove down to my parents house and had dinner with my family with cousins, aunts, and they even picked up my sweet Grandpa from the rest home! I am so lucky so have such an amazing husband! He is the best Dad to our little Charlie and he lights up every time he sees his Dad:) I am also very grateful to have the most amazing Father! He is so thoughtful, kind, loving, and one of the most selfless people I know! Love you both so much Happy Fathers Day!

Orem Summerfest

Last weekend Jack went with my Dad, Brother, and all their guy friends to Boulder Mountain for the annual "Manly" fishing trip. So i decided to spend the weekend with my wonderful Mom and Sister Nat. We went to the Orem Summerfest with the kids and we had a blast! We went on some fun rides, ate cotton candy, entered Charlie in the baby contest, and missed all the rain:) Here are some fun pictures that my sister just sent to me, I wish I had some of my Mom and Nat. Thanks Mom and Nat for spending so much time with us! I know we only live an hour away but I miss you guys like crazy so thanks for the fun-filled weekend!

My BABY is WALKING!

Charlie is 10 months old now and WALKING! He has been crawling since 5 months and standing up and walking around furniture for ever now so I'm actually surprised it took him this long, but he is now a walkin' fool! He is so stinkin' cute I can hardly stand it:) Here is a video of him, it was in the morning so he is still in his jammies and has bed head, but still so cute! (sorry it's so dark)

So I have been really busy lately so I have not gotten around to making some fun posts so I decided to combine them all into one big one so get ready to read and look at some cute pictures! The first one here is of my little angels first shiner! He was playing in his room and pulled his humidifier on top of himself and it was full of water! He was soaking wet and had a huge black eye that was bleeding as well...so SAD! I thought I was going to pass out with how fast it went purple and the blood didn't help! He cried for about 30 seconds and was wanting to go play again...he is one TOUGH kid!

On Friday night my WONDERFUL parents came up to babysit Charlie while Jack and I went to the Herriman Rodeo with my brother Bret and his cute wife Ash. We had such a good time and appreciate Jack's work for giving us the free tickets:)

And the past 3 days I have been doing some major yard work. We have a huge yard and with all the rain lately our weeds have taken over and we have been putting off pulling them. On Monday I finally got brave and started in the front...5 HOURS later it was complete!! Yesterday I worked on the back around our raised beds where we are growing our own veggies this year and 3 HOURS later I was only half way done! My arms hurt so bad that I can hardly pick up my child! The garbage can you see was completely empty when I started and I still have two piles and half the yard left! I know your jealous...most people can't produce weeds like us, we all have our talents:) Anyway the yard looks great now and our veggies are growing wonderfully! We had our first salad last night with our lettuce and it was probably the best salad I have ever had! I told Jack that I am an official farmer now. I told him to go ahead and tell people that I take care of our child and work the land:) (I know I am so lame, but I am proud of our little garden:))

Memorial Weekend

For the long weekend we decided to go camping with my family and their friends. We had so much fun! It was nice to get away with our family and just spend time together. The weather was rainy and that made for a muddy trip, but we played games, had naps, ate lots of yummy food and even watched a movie:) Jack and I were a little worried about how Charlie would do in the tent, but he did GREAT! He is a regular ol' out doors-man! I think his favorite part was all the attention he got and the 4-wheeler ride with Mom and Papa:)

my tiny nugget is 9 months old! May 2nd was his 9 months mark and he weighs 17 lbs. 9 oz. and is 27 1/4 in. tall:) He is trying to walk now and says Dadda and Mamma all the time. He also waves (not all the time but when I can get him to do it it is so stinkin cute!), he shakes his head no no, thinks he needs to eat big people food, and loves to wrestle with Dad! We just love him so much and can't believe he is all ours, we are so lucky! I know I posted this picture with the Texas trip, but it can't hurt to be repeated cause it is just too cute:)

Jack Graduated!

Jack graduated from UVU on May 1st with a BS in Construction/Project Management and also an Associates in Applied Technology! I am so proud of him and feel so blessed that he has a wonderful job he loves in his field already. His Mom and sisters came up for the ceremony then took us to PF Chang's and it was so fun:) Thanks to all who came to our BBQ afterwards to celebrate with us and support my amazing husband!

Charlie and I got to go visit my cute twin sister and her two girls in Texas all last week. Her husband was out of town for two weeks doing stuff with the Air Force so we went to keep them company. We had so much stinkin' fun that I want to go back already! Here are LOTS of pictures from the fun trip. The first one is of Charlie on his very first plane ride. He did so well! He just took a little nap then played with the arm hair on the guy next to me (so funny!) On the way home he slept the first half then just sat on my lap and snuggled me...it was the sweetest thing in the world! The only thing that was hard about traveling with a baby by yourself on a plane is going into the incredibly small bathroom and changing a poopy bum on your lap during turbulance and trying to keep your baby from wiggling off your lap cause he thinks it's a fun game bouncing all over the place with your pants off! Good times, good times!

We went to the pool a few times and it was so nice and relaxing. Charlie didn't love the cold water the first day so he just crawled around and chilled on the lounge chair, but the second day he let me get him in and he seemed to really like it:) The girls were so fun, Maddie would just run and jump in and Bryn was a little more reserved and would just play in the waterfall with me and Charlie.

We got to play princess and yes I know that my husband is going to kill me for taking this picture of Charlie dressed like a princess, but that is just what happens when you have ALL girl cousins:) (and sorry about how beautiful I look it was 7:30 in the morning so I hadn't put my face on yet)

We went to SeaWorld one of the days we were there and we had so much fun! Charlie LOVED to see the animals, but he did get a little tuckered out and took a nap:) The girls were so fun to go with and they loved showing me and Charlie the Shamoo show:)

Thank you Nikki, Maddie, and Bryn for letting us come visit we had so much fun and we LOVE you so much!!

Happy Easter everyone! I hope you all had as fun of an Easter as our little family did. Church was wonderful, the Easter Bunny came to our house, we had fun and food with family, and Charlie was a total crack up in his cute Easter outfit trying to eat plastic eggs!:) Here is what we found when we woke up, a trail of jelly beans to our baskets.

Well Charlie loved the eggs, but he is still too small to eat the candy. Auntie Nat felt bad so she decided to let him have a taste of a sucker. You would have thought the kid had been doing it his whole life! He shoved that huge sucker in his mouth and went to town! He loved it! Mom however had to be the mean one and take it away...he is still too little for that much sugar...sorry sweetie pie!

worried, sleep deprived, grossed out, and lots of other things this past week! Charlie has always been a really good eater! He opens his mouth wide for bites and always eats everything we make for him. However this past week he would shake his head no at me when I tried to feed him and he would gag and throw everything up! And when I say everything people I mean EVERYTHING! Friday he didn't throw anything up and he had a pretty good appetite compared to what it had been the past few days, so when we were invited to go to dinner with our friends Sat. we did. Well as we were all finishing up our meals at the restaurant Charlie began to puke every where. I cupped my hands tried my best to just keep it on me and his blanket. The poor thing was puking so much he couldn't breath...it was even coming out his nose! I ran into the bathroom with him when he was done and Jack helped me clean up and get his clean jammies on:( I was so scared I just broke down in the bathroom! My friends were so sweet and helpful, thanks you guys so much for being so understanding! Here is a picture of the blanket to give you a small glimpse of how much puke I'm talking about.

After we dropped our friends off we took Charlie to the urgent care and the doctor checked him out and said he was perfectly healthy and sometimes kids just go through periods like this...WHAT THE..! Are you kidding me?! I guess because he is so happy right before and after it happens he didn't think it was acid reflux. Here is what he is like after he does this...

...happy and crawling around, go figure. There was no fever so it wasn't a virus, and he was having wet and messy diapers so no bowel obstruction. I guess the doctor knows what he is talking about and luckily yesterday and today Charlie is eating normal and keeping it down...KNOCK ON WOOD! Well I hope none of you have to go through this "period" in your child's life because I have not slept for about a week now and it is just not a fun clean up.

Charlie has been pulling himself up to everything he can reach for the last 3 weeks or more and I got a little video of it that I thought I would post. It is not that long because my camera card was pretty full, but you can get the idea anyway. He is seriously not happy unless he is standing up to something, even if it glides back and forth...what a cutie pie:)

Bret and Ashlee's BIG day!

My brother Bret married his sweetheart Ashlee on Saturday March 7th. The temple ceremony was so nice and the reception was just beautiful! Torrie took the pictures for my brothers wedding and they turned out great! Here are a few....this one of them coming out of the temple is priceless! Congratulations you two we love you so much!

Last week the weather was so nice that Charlie and I finally got out of the house and did all kinds of fun things! We went for a walk in the stroller every day, had a fun picnic at the lake with our friends Erika, Jason, Lily, and Addilyn, worked in the yard, and fed the ducks:) Here are some pictures....
